Little League Softball

Lake Norman Little League offers the following recreational softball divisions of play.  Rosters are typically composed of 12 players per team.  All softball players are required to attend a skills evaluation, after which a final determination is made in regards to division placement.  Teams are drafted in an attempt to create balance across each division of play.

Softball League Age ranges are typical for these programs to keep participants playing age appropriate ball. Age ranges often overlap, allowing players who need a little more time to develop to play down in a division, or play up in a division if they are ready to advance and if approved by the league board.

It is important for all volunteers and parents to be familiar with the most up-to-date version of Little League’s Official Regulations, Playing Rules, and Operating Policies.  This page will provide resources on bat information, rules and regulations, official forms and publications, policy statements, and more.
