Minor League Softball divisions are established to offer girls an introduction to fastpitch softball. The goal of the Minor League is to prepare players for eventual selection to a Majors Division team.
> Rookies Softball Division (league ages 6-8): introductory coach/player-pitch softball division utilizing a 60-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 30 feet. During the season, a typical week includes a practice and games on Saturdays & Wednesdays. Teams then compete in an end-of-season championship tournament. All Stars are selected in the spring to participate in Little League's district tournament with the opportunity to advance to the state tournament.
> Minors Softball Division (league ages 8-10): intermediate fastpitch softball division utilizing a 60-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 35 feet. During the season, a typical week includes a practice and games on Mondays & Thursdays. Teams then compete in an end-of-season championship tournament. All Stars are selected in the spring to participate in Little League's district tournament with the opportunity to advance to the state tournament. State Champions advance to Little League's Southeast Region Tournament of State Champions.
